1 Year Anniversary of Sea Together: Surf Meet-up

Thank you to everyone who drove from far away to support, hang out, and celebrate the 1 year anniversary of Sea Together last weekend! Thanks Honey Mamas for providing plenty of coconut chocolate healthy goodness, James Quam for shooting the rad video, and the talented photographer Mackenzie Koespell for taking beautiful shots capturing the ocean! Sea Together had never been to San Onofre before, and we were amazed at the positive culture and we’ve never seen so many party waves before in our lives. It’s incredible to see the global women’s surf community come together through this project in support of empowering each other and believing in our space in surf culture. Surfing should be inclusive, welcoming, positive, and a space for females to feel empowered to grow not only in surfing, but also in their life from what we learn from the sea. We are so stoked and felt like this is a tiny, tiny preview of how it’ll be so rad to connect with more women surfers over a longer period of time, getting into deeper conversations and positive hangs, during our surf retreat in March 2019!
