Sea Together: Leeward Launch Party Recap

The launch party was filled with fun and so much stoke with such a turnout of so many friends in the Pacific Northwest! Everyone was super stoked and gratitude goes out to everyone who came and supported Issue 001. Thanks to Meade Krosby, Leslie Palotas, Lyndsey Faulkner, & Layla and Olivia Schroeder for being on the panel. This event was so special to see everyone come together in support of a small, artist-run project and in support of women's surfing in the PNW!

Hansen (an event volunteer/friend of Brianna) was the official social media guy for the event and his phone died when he was livestreaming the discussion panel. Jen Yih (another event volunteer/friend) ended up writing out questions from the Instagram from Alicia King (Australia), Inna Bell (Florida), and Aimee Malia Doran (California). Thanks so much to these humans for commenting their questions to the discussion panel on our Instagram post! 

Rhythm Method played beautifully in their band on and off during the whole night! Sea Together had incredible support from our sponsors: Tula Bikinis, Seafarer Supply, Temper Co, Oceandyenamics, Coconut Bliss, empanadas and chips from Las Primas, Rainbow Sandals, Breakside Brewery, and Brew Dr. Kombucha. 

This party couldn't have happened without the amazing support from Leeward Surf, the super helpful + supportive Michael Swamer, and all of Brianna's friends. Thanks to Joey Carnera for being the raffle guy, which of we raised over 150 dollars for our new fund for girls who cannot afford wetsuits in the PNW! All photos by Tyler Feague, the photo volunteer (and friend) for the event.
