La Bamba NYC's Surf Recess Series: Creative journaling with Allswell x Sea Together Mag

Join AllSwell and la Bamba for a CREATIVE Journaling workshop! Grab a ticket here and you’ll get a copy of Sea Together Mag included.

Laura Rubin, founder of AllSwell, will be in town from the west coast to help us develop (or deepen) a regular journaling practice. Taking cues from the sea we’ll use ocean-themed literature as our jumping off point for putting pen to paper. So put down that phone and pick up a pen. Drink a little wine. Come hang out and write with us. It’s good for you, we promise.

La Bamba x AllSwell x Sea Together Mag

Journaling Workshop

Thursday, March 21st

6:30 - 8:30PM

Loosie Rouge's CAFE

(Private, just for us. shhh)

$75 price includes an AllSwell notebook, writing tools, wine / beer / snacks and a copy of the latest Sea Together Magazine. Not a writer? No worries. You don’t need to have any background in writing whatsoever to enjoy this experience. There’s no wrong way to do this.

About AllSwell:

Born from a morning surf check with uninspiring results, founder Laura Rubin decided to sit on the beach and write in a notebook instead: “Swell or no swell, all’s well.” And a brand was born. Half lined (“Write”) and half unlined (“Draw”), each is made domestically of recycled elements, light enough to toss in a tote, perfect for travel. Creativity unplugged.

About Sea Together Magazine:

Sea Together is a biannual, creative (not-for-profit) print publication featuring the stories, opinions, and creativity of women surfers around the world. Their mission is to empower women surfers worldwide to live as their authentic self and to rise above societal or personal challenges. We celebrate our love for surfing through creative expression, connecting through community, and sharing our individual voices. Sea Together believes there is a space for every woman surfer to express themselves and share their voice. We believe there is a space for everyone to be represented in surfing. There is a space for you.
